All of our coaches hold NCCA-accredited certifications, and many of them have degrees in exercise science and nutrition.

Before being hired, our coaches go through a rigorous vetting process to ensure they have both the technical expertise and communication skills required to effectively train and motivate their clients. As a result, we hire only 1% of coaches who apply to work with us.

You’ll be communicating with your coach in a variety of different ways.

This includes live video calls, as well as video and text messaging via the Caliber app. Your coach is available to you 24×7 and you can generally expect a response within a few business hours.

Check ins are as frequent as you’d like them.

At a minimum, your coach will check in with you several times a week, inclusive of a comprehensive weekly review of your activity and your training plan for the upcoming week. While some of our members prefer less frequent, more diagnostic check-ins, many of our members appreciate regular check ins during the week to stay accountable to their plan.

Having good form when working out is important – both for injury prevention and for making good progress.

While working with your coach, you’ll be able to use our video form review feature, which enables you to capture a short video of yourself performing an exercise for your coach to review. This allows you to really dial in your form on any exercises that you’re struggling with, ensuring that you’re performing each movement effectively.

Your training program is 100% customized to you, your lifestyle, your experience and your goals.

What’s more, your coach will make ongoing adjustments to your plan based on how you’re doing with everything.

Yes. Whether you’re gluten-free, keto, vegan, Whole30, or allergic to specific foods, we will customize your plan to fit your lifestyle.

Many of our members belong to a gym, but just as many work out at home using their own equipment.

Regardless of where you like to exercise, your coach will design a plan that accommodates the equipment you have access to (or even if you don’t have access to any equipment at all).

Many of our members travel frequently, and our coaching program is often an ideal fit for them.

Whenever you’re traveling, your coach will be able to create a workout plan that you continue to do wherever you are, even if you don’t have access to any equipment.

Absolutely. 1-on-1 coaching is the ideal way to kickstart your fitness. Your coach will teach you everything you need to know across exercise, nutrition and habit formation, so that you can hit the ground running.

Incredible workout regimen and fitness program
I have been amazed at the structure, organization, and expertise that I have been given. This is by far the best training that I have had to date. While I find food diaries a pain, the use of their app makes this task simple and actually enjoyable. I can see myself where I stand daily with my nutrition goals. I am sore after every workout and the in-app tracking makes progression easy to monitor. I talk to my coach at least monthly and almost daily via the in-app chat feature. Solid science backed coaching.
Using Caliber for virtual coaching has been great! I am not new to strength training but I have struggled to lose weight on my own. I got paired with Wes who has been such a great coach! He has helped me fix how I train in ways I didn’t realize I needed. He programmed a much more well balanced routine for me as well. I didn’t expect to make a ton of strength gains just because I have been lifting for so long, but working with Wes I have started to hit all time personal records! On top of that, I have been losing about 1 lb a week. I’ve never been stronger and I am excited to keep working with Wes towards my weight loss and strength goals. Do it, sign up, get started! I thought about Caliber a couple years before pulling the trigger. No regrets, great experience 6 weeks in, attacking the gym with purpose, understanding, and accountability. My coach Jonathan truly took the time to get to know me, my experience and my goals and he is a constant communicator, huge value add in Q&A on nutrition, supplements, tweaking my macros, lifts and tailoring my plan to my goals. The app is legit, tracking and communicating, and progress real time, critiquing your form and staying accountable to yourself to achieve whatever it is you are chasing. Not only has Stephen the trainer manager checked in with me multiple times, the owner of the company wanted to ensure my experience is what I needed in my journey. Loving the Experience
I’ve been really impressed with Caliber. I was working out with an in person trainer for a few years and have found that I really prefer the app and my trainer Laurence who I work with virtually. I like the flexibility on when I can work out during the day and I also love getting feedback after every workout regarding my form and if I should have pushed myself harder. Caliber is more cost effective than the Trainer I was using and honestly I am seeing better results. I think this is the wave of the future in personal training and I’m glad I found it.
